Majoring in World Literature exposes you to a variety of languages and cultures, providing a solid foundation for careers in industries locally or abroad. Students earning their Bachelor of Arts in World Literature gain advanced proficiency in at least one language other than English while cultivating cross-cultural literacy. An immersion in ancient and modern literature from a variety of regions broadens students' understanding of the human condition and the ideas and concepts that foster global connection. The B.A. in World Literature is a collaboration between the university's College of Humanities and College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
