Apply your interpersonal skills and logical reasoning to a career that streamlines and improves people's relationship to, and interaction with, the workplace. The Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with an emphasis in Economy and Industry helps students develop an understanding of the role of economy and industry in our society. The program focuses on both practical and theoretical approaches to analyzing various industries, labor relations, organizational culture and human resources. Coursework touches on the basic concepts of commerce, such as business ethics, economics, finance, planning and evaluation, management and promotion while teaching students basic skills in digital communication and information technologies. This interdisciplinary degree grants students the opportunity to take classes tailored to their highly specialized course of study.
Learning Outcomes
