Become a well-rounded business professional with a course of study that combines business acumen and practical skills with a global, future-focused perspective. The interdisciplinary approach of the Business Administration emphasis in Applied Humanities allows students to tailor this Bachelor of Arts to their professional interests. The degree offers an experimental, entrepreneurial and collaborative program, and it focuses on public and private opportunities that straddle, rather than fall between, purviews. Students take classes that combine applicable business skills with the creative, cognitive, interpersonal and intercultural skills that come with a humanities education. Additionally, the program hones skills in public speaking, intercultural competence, collaboration, project management and leadership. With internships and fieldwork built into the study program, students graduate poised for success in the rapidly changing fields of national and international business.
