Pharmaceutical Sciences (MS) - Drug Discovery & Development

Program Description

The Drug Discovery and Development Program does not admit students with the expressed interest in pursuing the M.S. degree. However, for a variety of reasons students admitted to the Ph.D. Program may choose to complete an M.S. degree (non-thesis option) either alongside or in lieu of a Ph.D. degree.

The College of Pharmacy offers a graduate program leading to a Doctor of Philosophy and/or a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences.  Over twenty faculty participate in the program. 

Faculty research interests are in various areas of the following graduate tracks (sub plans):

(1) Drug Discovery and Development

(2) Health Pharm Outcomes Research

(3) Pharmaceutics
