The M.A. (LRC) program focuses on the theory, research and practice in language, reading, writing and culture. Courses to satisfy the colorado Department of Education SEI, Bilingual, and ESL Endorsements are included.

Research (3 units): TLS 576, TLS 578, TLS 597R, or EDP 560
 
Major Core (6 units): TLS 504, TLS 505
 
Courses in Major (12-18 units): Depends on focus area.
 
Field Experience (6 units): TLS 525, TLS 526, TLS 557, TLS 578, TLS 693, TLS 694a or other approved courses.
 
Exit Options: Standard Exam, Portfolio, Scholarly Paper, Take-Home Exam, Master's Thesis, Exit Course
