HOW TO APPLY

FIRST - YEAR

Who will move the world? You will.

Complete the following steps to evaluate students entering the first year of Colorado Heights University.

Step 1 Review Admissions Requirements

Students can enter Colorado in two ways:

  1. If students attend a regionally recognized high school, are in the top 25% of their graduating class, and do not have a course work defect or an unweighted GPA specified by the Colorado Board of Directors, they can obtain admission to Colorado through the "Entry Enrollment" process . Achieve 3.0 or higher in the core curriculum.
  2. All students who do not meet the above requirements for Assured Admission will be evaluated through our Comprehensive Review Process. You can view more details about Comprehensive Review on our Entry Requirements page.

Step 2 COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION

A COMPLETE APPLICATION INCLUDES

  1. A completed application form*
  2. Payment of application fee

*A complete application form includes all your self-reported grades for the 6th semester and courses in progress to be considered for first admission. You will need unofficial high school transcripts and/or access to the content of your course to complete this part of the application. Before the start of your first year at Colorado Heights University, we will verify your course and wait for the final official transcript to be submitted.

Step 3 TRANSCRIPTS

Official high school transcript(s)

Please do not send us your high school transcripts for now. We will use your self-reported results in your application for preliminary evaluation and review the admission decision. Before joining Colorado Heights University, you will need to provide official transcripts. More information will be provided upon admission. At the same time, check these common issues.

Official college/university transcript(s)

If you've completed any college or university course work during or post-high school, you will be asked to submit any/all official college transcripts at enrollment.

NOTE: SAT AND/OR ACT SCORES NOT REQUIRED

SAT/ACT scores are not required for general admission to the University, merit scholarship eligibility, or admission to our more selective programs such as the Honors College. If a student chooses to submit official SAT/ACT scores, they may be used to assist with class placement at orientation or to help fulfill Colorado Board of Regents (CHOR) course competencies. Also, our office does not "superscore" exam scores; we review the best singular test sitting.

Please note: Official test scores must be sent directly from the testing agency.
