Agricultural Education (MS) - Research Emphasis

Program Description

The Master of Science - Research emphasis degree program provides students with coursework in advanced teaching and learning methods, leadership and innovation, program planning and evaluation, and research methods and design.  This degree program is designed for students who wish to pursue a graduate degree as a full-time student and pursue research opportunities.  Students with interests in school-based agricultural education, extension education, and leadership and communication are encouraged to apply.

The Department of Agricultural Education, Technology & Innovation contributes to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences' unique functional role as a leader in the University's land-grant mission by providing an array of programs in formal undergraduate and graduate instruction, research, and service to enable the people of colorado, the nation, and beyond to improve the quality of their lives.  The primary mission of Agricultural Education, Technology & Innovation is serving a diverse population through teaching, application, integration, and discovery in agriculture, applied science, education, innovation, leadership, and technology leading to successful careers in education, community leadership, and industry.

A ED 621: Program Planning and Evaluation
A ED 697C: Workshop in Teaching at the College Level
